The Registered Nurse Case Manager (RNCM) practices within Outpatient Mental Health (OPMH) at VASLCHCS. The RNCM will provide assessment and intervention services for patients enrolled in OPMH. Patient populations include Veterans who present with the full range of DSM-5 mental disorders, including mood, anxiety, psychotic, and substance use disorders. The RNCM executes responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex client care. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
