Responsible for leading and implementation program that supports non-physician clinical staff with orientation and competency assessment in order to promote standardized clinical work flow and optimal client care. Evaluates performance, provide feedback and mentors, develop education programs, and contribute to staff professional development.
Principal Accountabilities:
Develops, implement, and monitors the policies and procedures necessary to maintain the standards required by accrediting bodies and/or licensing agencies.
Register RN license with the DCA for Health Service Firm
Reviews contracts with insurance companies, home care companies and state or county agencies as it relates to service delivery. Assist, as needed, with arranging for the appropriate data to be gathered for insurance companies.
Establish outcome criteria for the Clinical Indicators within the Performance Improvement program, ensure data is collected, monitor and report results. Implement action plans and take necessary steps to maintain compliance.
Monitor Infection Control plan, execute polices and ensure TM compliance.
Assist agency staff with the implementation of computer programs and materials used to provide services .
Responsible for annual in-service program and training for CHHA team members.
Register RN license with the DCA for CHHA training programs.
Assist Nursing Coordinators with all new private duty nursing (PDN) cases, as necessary.
Assist Scheduling Coordinators and HR Manager with monthly Supervisions , and client monitoring visits.
Review all potential clients for admission and level of care
Ensure Case manager visits are completed in a timely manner.
Monitor all PDN/Managed Care Authorizations with assistance from Billing Department.
Work with CHHA's to ensure compliance with task documentation
Conduct TM orientation and skills assessments for CHHA and nurses
Develop and maintain high tech training and competencies for field staff.
Interview all potential new Team members and make recommendations for hire
Work with office manager to review all required pre hire medical documentation
Review annual TB questionnaires, conduct contract tracking for TM and clients
Facilitate service recovery
Train new field case managers.
Monitor the collection , storage and archiving of client medical records.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required: 1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
Preferred: 1. Master's degree in Nursing or related field. 2. 5 years' experience in clinical, management experience in an ambulatory setting or relevant area. 3. Certification in BLS and valid NJ nursing license.
