This position is located in the Mental Health Service at the George E. Whalen VA Salt Lake City Health Care in Utah. The Primary Care NP (Family/Adult/Gerontological specialty) functions as a member of an interdisciplinary team, which includes physicians, therapists, case managers, nurses and pharmacists. The primary treatment setting is the Substance Abuse Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Unit (SARRTP) with additional duties as a provider on the Homeless Patient Aligned Care Team. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
