You Will Be Responsible For:
Primary therapist to maintain a full caseload and perform case management functions as necessary.
Communicate thoroughly and appropriately with patients and family members, as well as the clinic administrative and clinical teams.
Conduct individual and group therapy as appropriate to client need.
Conduct intake screening and psychosocial evaluations of clients.
Develop and implement outcome-oriented treatment plans, in conjunction with case ARNP/psychiatrist and case managers when necessary.
When needed, provide field supervision for Master level student interns.
What You Will Need:
Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counselor-required
Current & valid Florida Mental Health Counselor license (LMHC)
The Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) provides individual and group therapy to people with depression and/or anxiety in an outpatient clinic setting in order to maximize functioning and prevent hospitalization. The LMHC obtains psychosocial assessments and may provide field supervision to Master’s level student interns.
