Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience with highly detailed information.
• Accurate and timely operation of computer software.
• Ability to view images on a screen and create cross-sections and other perspectives for analysis and diagnosis.
• Knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy and gross pathology.

• Ability to navigate through proprietary 3D software, Microsoft Office software, HR software, wikis, and other online resources to perform job functions.
• Ability to memorize protocols and computer commands.
• Ability to work independently on cases.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated professional demeanor speaking with colleagues, doctors, surgeons, clinicians, and other professionals in sometimes tense situations.
• Professional review of colleague’s work, providing guidance, sharing new ideas and information in a professional manner.
• This position may involve working non-traditional hours including evenings, nights, weekends and occasional holidays as well as possible “on call” responsibilities to  ensure continuation of operations.

Education and Experience:

• Associates in Health Science in Radiologic Technology is required or bachelor’s degree in a health science or related field of study is a plus.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and radiologic
• T. (RT)(ARRT) is required. CT and or MR licenses are highly preferred.
• Experience in 3D and multi-planar reformatting
• Experience in multi-modalities
• Software experience with Tera Recon, Vital Images, VISAGE, and/or other 3D software is highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting.
• Ability to maintain considerable concentration with frequent time pressures and occasional interruptions.
• Must have hand-eye coordination and ability to use a mouse and keyboard.
• Must have mental and visual acuity to operate complex computer equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
