OverviewClinical Supervisor - (RN) Hospice Leadership Opportunity - GIP Hospitals - The Clinical Supervisor optimizes the team's ability to deliver care by utilizing clinical knowledge, skills and keen evaluation. The Clinical Supervisor manages, develops and supports the clinical team while ensuring all patients and families unique needs are met. The Clinical Supervisor is readily available to assist staff, patients and families with the evolving care plan.
Schedule: Monday - Friday with one weekend on call per month
Location: Maryland and Washington, DC - Hospital GIP Units ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day triage of the Team activities of accepting referrals, assuring timely admissions, assigning patients to the appropriate team members and monitoring patient care as ordered on the interdisciplinary plan of care. The Clinical Supervisor conducts the IDT meetings and supervises and supports clinical staff through evaluation and field supervisory visits and assures ongoing development of the teams’ clinical skills. The Clinical Supervisor will assure quality care and compliance with state and federal regulations, CHAP accreditation standards, and the organization’s policies and procedures.
